Dream & Scheme Deep Dive: Alternatives to Social Media

An interactive virtual working retreat hosted live on Zoom by artist Kimberly Kuniko for fellow creative small business owners. 

DEEP DIVE THEME: Alternatives to Social Media // As social media algorithms continue to impact our reach to even our most devoted community as well as discovery, social media burnout can deplete our energies and leave us feeling discouraged when tried-and-true routes aren’t working anymore. I’m realizing more and more how important it is for small business owners to evolve as platforms change, and be open to new strategies that better serve our aims. While this workshop retreat isn’t a push for us to jump ship by any means, it’s for taking a time to evaluate what is and isn’t working + explore ways of connecting with not only our current customers, clients, and readers, but also experiment with alternate routes to growing our audience outside social media.

Retreat admission includes:

• a 2-hour working retreat hosted live on Zoom
• an Alternatives to Social Media Guide with a host of ideas of things to do to grow your business other than social media, sorted by category: local, online, collaborate, professional development, submit/pitch, wholesale, little things, and admin
• guided discussion questions for participants to engage with on screen or in the chat (whatever is most comfortable*)
• access to replay+ chatbox transcript following retreat

*ᰔᩚ There are no social engagement expectations for our time together. This retreat is for you and your small business, and you're welcome to utilize it however best fits with your energies and workflow. While there will be opportunities for sharing or asking questions for those who'd like to do so, there's never any pressure to engage more than feels comfortable. Participants are welcome to have their screens off or use the chatbox in lieu of speaking on screen. No one will be put on the spot, and there are no breakout group discussions planned for this retreat. ^.^

This deep dive will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). However, if this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
