This workshop series is for folks who've already taken my introductory Freehand Watercolor Patterns workshop and are looking to delve further into the 4 pattern types we covered: Building Blocks, Follow the Leader, Space Invaders, and Groupies. Each session will be devoted to one of the 4 pattern types, experimenting with different shapes and colors each time as well as exploring various aspects of pattern design such as mood, theme, and cohesion. I'll be painting alongside the group, offering tips and tricks, and providing 1:1 feedback.
This workshop series will take place in several live sessions through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

PATTERN PLAY - $100 | Saturdays 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 3-4:30 p.m. PST
This workshop series is for folks who've already taken my introductory Freehand Watercolor Patterns workshop and are looking to delve further into the 4 pattern types we covered. Each session will be devoted to one of the 4 pattern types, and we'll experiment with different shapes and colors with each one. During each session, I'll be lettering alongside the group, offering tips and tricks, and providing 1:1 feedback.
PATTERN PLAY + TECH TUTORIAL - $140 | Saturdays 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 3-4:30 p.m. PST + 12/12, 3-5 p.m. PST
This option includes the above Pattern Play sessions + a longer fifth session add-on, which covers technical aspects of preparing scanned artwork to be used for various types of surface design (scanning, editing in Photoshop, and rendering files for high print quality).
PATTERN PLAY SINGLE SESSIONS - $30-$45/session | Individual sessions sold separately (Reg. Deadline: 1 hour prior to start time)
If you're unable to make all 5 sessions, but would like to join in on a week-by-week basis, you can purchase them individually for $30 per Pattern Play session and $45 for the Tech Tutorial. See dates above.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund for class only (Starter Kit is non-refundable) OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications and pass along your Starter Kit to them if you purchased one). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
