Guided Creative Retreat [Daydream]

A retreat for taking some quiet moments to follow our creative curiosities, focusing on any medium you'd like to explore and using materials you have on hand at home. To push our creativity further, I'll guide us through a series of prompts centering on a theme of 'daydream' to activate the imagination and practice stepping “off the path” to wonder, wander, and ask, “what if?” Each prompt will help us take notice of our wonderings, spark new curiosity, and draw out ideas to apply to your chosen medium whether it be drawing, painting, collage, tactile arts, crafting, or writing. Join us for a cozy session creating alongside each other, and we'll save a little time at the end for any who wish to share their makings or writings with the group.

Retreat participants will also have access to a private forum hosted here on my website to continue the conversation and share in-progress or finished work for group feedback post-retreat.

You'll receive an email in the days prior setting the scene for our time together along with a list of suggested materials (applied to your medium) it'd be helpful to have on hand.

This workshop will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
