Guided Creative Retreat [Geekery Goodness]

A retreat for taking some quiet moments to follow our creative curiosities, focusing on any medium you'd like to explore whether it be writing, drawing, painting, collage, fiber arts, music composition, or crafting, and using materials you have on hand at home. Each guided retreat is akin to going on a solo retreat of your own while in the company of fellow creatives who are doing the same.

THEME: Geekery Goodness // A playful retreat for engaging our creativity by taking inspiration from our favorite books, television series, films, video games, graphic novels, etc. We'll venture through a series of prompts connecting creativity to our favorite geeky properties. Sign up by 12/16 to have some extra fun pulled in from what you share on your form.

We'll save a little time at the end for any who wish to share their makings or writings with the group, and retreat participants will also have access to a private forum hosted here on my website to continue the conversation and share in-progress or finished work for group feedback post-retreat.

You'll receive an email in the days prior setting the scene for our time together along with a list of suggested materials (applied to your medium) it'd be helpful to have on hand.

This workshop will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

BUILDING CREATIVE PRACTICE - RETREAT BUNDLES: Guided Creative Retreat can be purchased in discounted bundles with a tiered discount. This offering is for those wishing to build a creativity practice into their schedule by intentionally carving out time and holding space each month to explore creatively. CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
