Guided Creative Retreat [How We Hue]

A retreat for taking some quiet moments to follow our creative curiosities, focusing on any medium you'd like to explore whether it be writing, drawing, painting, collage, fiber arts, music composition, or crafting, and using materials you have on hand at home. Each guided retreat is akin to going on a solo retreat of your own while in the company of fellow creatives who are doing the same.

THEME: How We Hue // With this color-filled retreat, we'll pull from a variety of color palettes (even some within our immediate surroundings) to explore color as a way to convey thoughts, evoke a sense of emotion, or imbue symbolism and metaphor into our favorite creative mediums. We'll also reflect on our own personal color palette made up of the hues we’re naturally drawn to, allowing them to inspire new creations and writings.

This workshop will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Retreaters will receive an email from me in advance with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

This offering is for those wishing to build a creativity practice into their schedule by intentionally carving out time and holding space each month to explore creatively. CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
