Guided Creative Retreat [Storytelling]

A retreat for taking some quiet moments to follow our creative curiosities, focusing on any medium you'd like to explore whether it be drawing, painting, writing, collage, tactile arts, or crafting, and using materials you have on hand at home. Each guided retreat is akin to going on a solo retreat of your own while in the company of fellow creatives who are doing the same.

THEME: Storytelling // A cozy retreat for creatives to explore the art of storytelling in any medium they choose (writing, collage, drawing, painting, photography, textiles, etc). Together, we’ll walk through a series of prompts inspired by our favorite stories to explore different routes of using our imaginations to weave new tales or transport us into memories.

We'll save a little time at the end for any who wish to share their makings or writings with the group, and retreat participants will also have access to a private forum hosted here on my website to continue the conversation and share in-progress or finished work for group feedback post-retreat.

You'll receive an email in the days prior setting the scene for our time together along with a list of suggested materials (applied to your medium) it'd be helpful to have on hand.

This workshop will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
