Guided Creative Retreat [Words]

This was such a popular theme that I'm offering it again! A retreat for taking some quiet moments to follow our creative curiosities with a focus on creative writing whether it be fiction, non-fiction, poetry, scriptwriting, songwriting, story-led sharing of your work and what you do, or any other form of storytelling. To activate our imagination and push our creativity further, I'll guide us through a session of creative exploration with a series of prompts and writing exercises to ignite the imagination, explore wordplay, and draw out ideas to apply to your preferred writing style.

Retreat participants will also have access to a private forum hosted here on my website to continue the conversation and share in-progress or finished work for group feedback post-retreat.

You'll receive an email in the days prior setting the scene for our time together along with a list of suggested materials (applied to your medium) it'd be helpful to have on hand.

This retreat will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
