Hand Lettering with Art Pens

Hand-lettering has a wonderfully natural, delightfully personal touch that distinguishes it from fonts, typography, and printing press art forms. In this workshop, we'll explore multiple styles of block lettering and cursive scripts while working with spacing, slant, varying pen weights, and line heights to convey different moods and messaging styles. We'll cover helpful tips and tricks for planning out spacing, and students will have time to play with various lettering styles as well as work on hand lettering a quote or phrase.

This workshop will take place in a live session through Zoom, which allows us to interact face-to-face in an online classroom setting through video, audio, and chat box. Download the Zoom app software to your preferred camera- and mic-enabled device + have stable internet service to participate in the live virtual workshop. Students will receive an email from me the day prior with a direct link and instructions on how to access the workshop the following day.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to class size minimums, I'm unable to offer full refunds on cancellations. However, cancellations made 1 week prior to the workshop can choose between a 50% refund for class only (Starter Kit is non-refundable) OR a transfer of your registration to a friend (you'll need to supply their contact information so they can receive all class communications and pass along your Starter Kit to them if you purchased one). If this class does not meet class size requirements, you will receive a full refund.
