This year has been a particularly challenging and sorrowful one for so many. Family losing homes to wildfires, friends suffering from pain and illness, neighbors losing lives to hurricanes and violence, and a disheartenment that comes with witnessing so much hatred and affliction in this beautiful world we share together.

I love the poetic words of Mother Teresa, a beautiful soul who spent her life serving others through emotionally and physically taxing work in order to grow more beauty, more kindness and more gentleness into this world.
