Part of an illustration project exploring the beauty of empathy while acknowledging how it feels when we ache to ease suffering. When we hold shadows of the sorrow, pain, or grief of others as we witness what they’re experiencing. I believe that empathy is not just something we feel, but that it becomes a verb, drawing us to action. Wherever compassion grows, we become kinder, more understanding, even braver- to move and respond in some way. This tote is a gentle reminder to breathe as we navigate it all.
