Growing up as a mixed-race Nikkei in Los Angeles, we grew up getting these happy red boxes of Pocky sticks in our stockings and for special treats. Pocky are named after the Japanese onomatopoeic word pokkiri (ポッキリ), which resembles the sound of the chocolate stick being snapped.

This playful card carries the nostalgic flavors of my childhood and has all the makings of expressing how much you adore a loved one.
