One of the most strikingly beautiful books I've read is Life of Pi, a story that illustrates the endurance of the human spirit in impossible situations and grapples with how narratives shape reality. This quote inspires me to create art that is first and foremost true, and take care to consider what constraints I feel compelled to assign.
